Subject: [Leica] 35-70/2.8 out of production ???

Dear Leica people:

Last week  Wall Street Camera people (New York)  told me  that the
production of the 35-70/2.8 zoom lens was over , that most of the back
orders were cancelled. Any comments ???? is it really true ?
