As Brian here will confirm I think, picture libraries do this the whole
time... take the pix from their sources, rescue in photoshop, output to film
for their clients.

I have to make up a set of slides of my Mayday shots for a festival, and
rather than making prints and then photographing onto Scala, I'm seriously
considering outputting the PS scans onto film digitally.
