He shot 4 x 5 using Ektachrome 100 ASA (whatever was the latest thing then). I shot 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 with K64 in 120. Same subjects and flash lighting. His photos won by a country mile. The extra size made all the difference in tonal gradation and apparent sharpness. Emanuel Lowi Montreal
