This is one of the many amazing things about this lens. Yes, you can see
that a wide angle was used, but the images are sharp and relatively
undistorted corner to corner. Of all my Leica M lenses (and I have more or
less the complete set, except 28mm and 75mm) the 24mm is possibly the
biggest improvement over the Japanese brand I used until 1998.
