I agree, but I wonder if Leica can better the already excellent lenses Mamiya makes for the rangefinder M7 II? If they can produce a faster lens of similar size and weight, then I'd be an eager buyer, along with probably many others. Just imagine the 6X7 negatives shot with the equivalent to my outstanding 35mm Summilux 1.4 Aspheric!! However, I imagine such a lens would have to be very large and very heavy, not to mention very very expensive. sam
