Today's Washington Post has a feature on the second death of Life. The
on-line version is found at
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A45162-2000Apr30.html. One
thing I learned from the article is that Life wasn't racking up losses, it
was actually showing a profit of a few million dollars---but apparently not
enough for the CorpFin types running Time Warner.
