Leica makes a special correction lens for people with astigmatism
(042-253-008). You have to have your optician make up a suitable lens for
it. You can rotate the lens within its mount to be able to shoot in
landscape or portrait orientation. Most people find it to be too much of a
hassle to be fiddling with the orientation  of the correction lens all the
time and prefer to use glasses or contacts.
