First place of picture taking is a little village in Germany, Heinsberg-Waldenrath and then work out of there for about a week. A visit to Solms, several days in Paris ... hey guys & gals, I'm even going to have a go at "street photography" where it all began. :-) PLus a number of locations around the city during the day and early evenings devoted to "Paris by twilight!" So I imagine the old Nocti is going to get it's butt worked off, not to mention the old guy. Hopefully I'll have a couple of LUGNUT meet & greets along the way, as some plans are in place, however, it's the timing in relation to great European light for pictures, that will really control what happens. This is a working shoot and not a lolling along taking your time at whatever you please . Anyway, I expect it'll be a great bunch of fun, hell if it weren't I wouldn't do it, there'll be lots of "hard time" shooting also. But what a better way to enjoy life could you have? And at 71 in a few weeks it's all a piece of cake when you're doing what you love most! :-) Being a photographer. :-) Thought you might like to know the gear: 2 M6 15 Voigtlander 35 1.4 Noctilux Tom Abrahamsson Rapidwinders on both. 1 R8 15mm 35-70 F3,5 80-200 f 4.0 2 X extender Motor drive Tripod 100 rolls carry on flight and 100 shipped ahead of KODAK 100 VS 50 rolls Ilford 100 Delta plus 50 rolls Tmax 400 This is actually a very light load, as much of the shooting will be mobile and not much time for setting up longer lenses, so we went for a rather light load. However, it isn't right down to walking out the door yet and the "worry wart" photog here may add another R8 with motor, Any way lads and lasses, behave, no fighting and I wish you lots of good solid pictures.. See you in mid May. bye ted
