There is an arts camp in New Milford, Conn., called Bucks Rock - been there
for at least 40 years....very funky, hippy-dippy,
do-your-own-thing...everything from glass blowing to theater to a radio
station to welding to PHOTOGRAPHY - darkroom, etc. - to weaving, etc.
etc....It is NOT an athletic kind of camp at all, although they have a
swimming pool, the kids can go on caving expeditions, etc....I think they
also have animals the kids can care for, at least they did...My now
17-year-old spent a couple of summers there and had a good time...

Guys and Gals:

I'm looking for some help. I've got twin 10 year old boys that are
beginning to realize the types of activities they enjoy. One is the sports
jock - anything with a ball. The other likes sports, but would rather
photograph most of them instead of playing them.

We were sitting around the dinner table making plans for the summer. The
"jock" wants to go to several soccer camps. He enjoys having kids kick
balls at him and fancies himself a world class goal keeper! Those camps
have been easy to find.

I'm trying to find summer camps, courses or seminars for the other guy. He
likes nature and sports, has his own Canon EOS Elan II, thinks my M6's are
old fashion and really wants an R8 with motor and 180 Summicron!!!!

So my question is, do any of you know of some kids-oriented programs that
are available? We live in Michigan, but travel would be okay.

Thanks in advance,
Rick Floyd
