 WOW, 50 weeks, did you order one when Leica sent out the press release?  It
took six weeks to get mine from Kindermann Canada.  But I did pay up front
for the lens around $1,800 USD tax included. I guess that bumped me up the
waiting list a bit or production is starting to catch up.
