I'd just explained the problem and handed the camera over when the phone went. the guy put the camera down. In a spate of espresso induced panic, i tried to pick the camera up to check that there still was something wrong, the strap caught on something and I dropped the camera about 2 feet onto the table. The guy picked it up, checked the vf and the image was now well and truly buggered. It is still being repaired under guarantee - how's that for service! I felt like a real twit! julian
