Ananth, I can only compare experiences between the Mini3 and the T4. I
found the Mini3 to have the better lens. Vignetting is apparent in both,
but more so in the Yashica. Contrast was also higher in the Mini3
consistently.

The T4 super DOES have both the "super scope" waist level finder and water
resistance, but the auto focus is less predictable for quick street
shooting.

Based on the shots found on the Leica web site that they say were taken with
the C1 I would say it is MUCH better optically than either the Mini3 or the
Yashica. (It should be, since it costs more that twice as much)

Light falloff is the common theme amound P&S cameras, but sharpness and
contrast can be quite outstanding. I find the 32 mm lens in the Mini3 to be
MUCH better than the old Elmar 3.5 LTM lens. (technology really has made
things better:)

By the way, if you really want a first class point and shoot, go for a used
Contax T2 or Minilux. There will still be a bit of vignetting, but in
general the results will be first class.

Best wishes
