Let it 'replace' the R6.2, but improve it with 100% viewfinder, continuous shutter speeds, the combined shutter/release/speed dial of the Leicaflex, NO LCDs (which will deterioriate in approx. 10 years), lightweight (aluminum shell),TTL capability. In other words: create a niche. Mechanical SLRs are a dying breed. But there is (and will be) constant demand from a small fraction of (experienced) photogs. The name R8 by itself is already a BIG mistake. Sometimes I can't understand how they run their business. They seem to make nearly every possible mistake. - --
