I'm not saying the R8 is wonderful, and I'm not say that it doesn't use The Best glass....But...It isn't autofocus and doesn't have half the flexibility in terms of features - if one wants them - of the F5, or F 100 for that matter, and it has far fewer lenses in its stable, for the same money as an F5...That's a tough sell to any but Leicaholics....If Leica is going to make it in the Reflex field I would suggest that they need to rebadge something like the new Minolta 9000 with a Leica lens mount - and Minolta autofocus lenses available using the same mount.....I'm not saying that would be a better camera, so don't flame me - I'm just saying that something like that would be more competitive....
