Friends,
I have one of these - excellent sharpness. 
I even used it with the Viso for macro work, just using the image size the
Viso provides, and I cannot imagine of sharper images.
However, the question arouse, what made Leica change the design? I think it is
the overall performance: The lense is extremely prone to flare. I think Leica
made really improvements in this area. 

My next lens will be the Apo 90. And if it is really better then the TE that
one will be a HAMMER.
