I most certainly agree, I've had my 1270 for 3 weeks now and have been printing some B&W's for the portfolio on the Epson Matt Heavyweight using customised quadtones for lith and platinum type effects. Absolutely stunning results. Of the six art directors who saw my book this last week all commented on the Epson prints, specifically the tonality and depth. However as a proffessional while I would reccommend this as an additional tool to the armoury I will not be giving up my darkroom just yet. On a leica note I've just been looking at the first tests from my new 90mm Elmarit-M and I am very happy, a distinct improvement over the old Elmar-C I was using. It felt better as I was shooting and proved it on film, or perhaps the street Zen just kicked in :) Johnny if you are reading, the offer to come and play with the 1270 still stands.
