Monopod or not. So with the change of assignment demands to more out door venues I'm going to switch to the 80---200 f4. Hopefully I'll not have any regrets. I'll not have any with the 80-200, as I've used one extensively and it's just a cracker jack piece of glass. And wide open? It'll knock your socks off with sharpness. So that's the only reason and if I find it necessary to go back to the 70-180, so be it I'll just get one and get on with life. :) ted
