I am about to buy an enlarger,and am looking at a V35. Is it worth the
premium over, say, another brand with a componon, rodagon, etc.?
I primarily print black and white, but want the color option. Larger formats
are not required.
I am not looking to spend money for the Leitz name, but I want a quality
enlarger.
The price spread is rather large over some of the alternatives, and as it has
been a while since I have printed, I am not up on the current state of the
art. Any advice would be appreciated.
I have had nothing but positive comments on the V35, but am unaware of
quality alternatives.
