Sorry to hear about your 'bad strobe day'.

There are power strips with MOVs (metal oxide varistors...basically, surge 
protectors) in them, but it is quite a chore to regulate 120V A/C in a 
little power strip....perhaps you really don't mean 'voltage regulated', 
perhaps 'surge protected'?

I don't believe it would be a power surge that killed your strobe...perhaps 
the outlet was wired incorrectly?
