I have used this scanner on a daily basis for some time now.  My only words 
of advice are to make sure you have the latest software and firmware (which 
is available from Nikon as a free download) for it.

One thing it doesn't like are thin negatives however (grossly 
underexposed).  Its just great otherwise.
