Polarizers are never TWO rotating pieces of glass. They are but ONE.
Well... two pieces of glass with a polarizing film sandwiched between them.
They are glued together. One unit. B+W makes a double polarizer. When you
rotate one, it will block all light when the grids are at 90 degrees to
each other.
