24 is an "unusual" focal length. Many compact flashes have an add-on
diffuser which covers 28mm. The larger flash guns like my Nikon SB25 can
cover up to 21. I suppose one cannot avoid using a bigger rig if you really
want to cover 24. OTOH, a little light fall-off might even be seen as
artistic!
