I have both. They are entirely different lenses. My 35/1.4 ASPH lives
primarily in a body containing Fuji MS 100/1000. The 50/1.4 lives on a body
containing Tri-X. Sometimes they swap places. The 50/1.4 is a Bokeh lens as
is my 75/1.4. The 35/1.4 ASPH is not as is not my 24 ASPH. The signature of
the ASPH lenses is quite different from the non ASPH lenses. You cannot
compare them. They are just different. I made some 20x24 Cibachromes from
transparencies taken with my 35/1.4 ASPH. It looks like MF. Sharp from
corner to corner. Ciba's from my 75/1.4 or 50/1.4 have a glow that is
unmistakenly Leica.
