I went out drinking with some producers and the worldwide head of a major movie company. I took my camera to sneak some shots, which I did. Later on, on the way home, I changed rolls of film and shot some candid stuff on the train. When I got home I went to unload the film and found in my drunkenness I'd actually lost the baseplate of the camera, and had been shooting without it. Next day I wanted to shoot, so I had to drive up to Leica HQ and buy a new baseplate. OUCH.
