Sounds like someone who walks into one pawn shop, doesn't see any bargains 
and writes off pawn shops for good. If it was EASY everyone would go there 
and then of course there would be no bargains. Which now that I think about 
it is what HAS happened to both pawn shops and ebay. But, as always, there 
are still bargains to be had. They just don't fall off trees and hit you on 
the head. You have to work at it a little bit. But in both cases, I'd just 
assume that you and everyone else stayed away (nothing personal, mind you).
