To fulfill your prediction, there are some parallels - there are those whom engage in competition that make extensive use of the SLING for support in standing, sitting, kneeling and prone positions. The effects of the body (muscle control, heart beat, breathing, balance, etc.) affect both holding the "Shootin' Iron" and the camera. (The same is true for golf.) The basics are obvious - good balanced positioning of body weight, several deep breaths letting out half, and then carefully releasing the shutter/trigger without jarring the camera/rifle. Snipers are masters at waiting for 'just the right moment' as well. In addition, there are the effects of stairing for a length of time at the same point of aim. Eye fatigue will set in after some 15-20 seconds and is relieved by moving to focusing on something else. Tim K.
