Subject: Re: [Leica] Strap Length

All my straps -- on both Nikons and Leica Ms -- are adjusted so that when the
strap hangs in the crook between my thumb and first finger it just barely
clears my elbow when I sling the camera over my shoulder (does this make
sense). In practice that places the bottom of a camera hanging on the
shoulder a few inches above the waist. A Leica M (the only camera I wear
around my neck) hangs in the middle of my chest. Incidently, my preference is
the narrow black Nikon nylon strap (AN-4B I believe). The sole exceptions are
a 1-inch Domke (without quick releases) on a Nikon F4 and a Leica M6 strap on
a M3 (the M4-P has a Nikon strap fitted to older Leica hardware).
