I have handled the 90mm f2.0 APO and one could only call it large in comparison to the old 90mm f2.8 tele-elmarit. So if you need very small go with the tele-elmarit (slightly soft wide open and close). If you want fantastic f2.0 go with the APO. If a largish, but spectacular and inexpensive, f2.8 is it, go for the elmarit. I have never heard of a single complaint with a rapidwinder and, if you use your left eye for viewing, it is a must have.
