The camera is a 1.1million serial number, which is supposedly very desirable among collectors of that sort of thing. In addition, it does have the original detritus along with the camera, making it more interesting to collectors. Special material in ANY collecting hobby these days is fetching a marked premium. A similar M3 that's below 1million in very nice shape without the box and other paperwork is still worth $800-1400.
