lugfolk,

i seem to recall that one lugger had a vexatious problem with rangefinder
patch flare corrected in a matter of minutes by the leica representative at
a 'leica day' event at his local photo shop. he seemed to suggest that it
was easily corrected.

does anyone remember who this was or what was done? can it be done by onesself?

i've encountered the problem with my m6 ttl. while it's never resulted in
disaster, i wouldn't mind correcting it, if it could be done easily.
(personally speaking, the 'tape over the little window' method is not a
solution i would use.)
