Actually, I believe the CL 40/2 uses a series 5.5 filter.  At least this is the case on my CL.  The hood ring is also the retaining ring for the Ser 5.5 filter.  Not common, but neither is the CL.  Great camera, but a pain to focus (aging eyes).
