Like I read in a recent magazine review about the Leica M6 TTL, "Flash? That
why they have Nikons (and in your case Peter, Canons)"

You're pretty obviously a Canon enthusiast from your previous messages. Why
don't you stay in a mailing lists that talks about a system you can say
something positive about??

Then why are you satisfied with the 1/50 seconds on the M6?  Personally I
would welcome the improvement, but unlike many I use flash.

Yes.  I will now get down on my knees and bow east to the great Leica
