Dan,
Thanks but I wasn't prompted to download anything, the computer sucked 
away, extracted my file but then couldn't display it.
However, Hans has now converted the large file I sent him and even uploaded 
it as well, though it seems rather degraded (not surprisingly) upon arrival 
at the site.
I shall endeavour to install the Photoshop programme I have, scan some 
files into it and get them into JPEG format, then we'll see about getting a 
web-site up and running.

I think the first thing to do is to create a picture file that msn.com
recognises. Then when you try to upload it, you will be prompted to
download a "uploader" program if you do not already have one. I remember
distinctly that I had to download that small file from msn.

Otherwise, I think Hans can do some conversion for you.
