It's a wonderful lens and you will enjoy learning to work with it. I took pix at a SuperBowl party yesterday using two completely different camera systems. One was a Canon EOS-3 with an 85mm 1.2L and the other was an M6TTL HM with the 75. With the Canon, everybody struck a pose. The women were pretty, so, no problem. Because I had to do the focusing and exposure setting, the Leica was certainly not as fast, but it certainly drew less attention. And pretty women were still pretty even when not alerted that it was time turn on the charm. One did remark, "cool" when I took a light reading with the Sekonic 508. I don't have the results from the Canon pix, but I'm sure nearly all will be in perfect focus and well-exposed. Because I am not well-practiced with the M6, the results were as expected--marginal. I was shooting wide open at 1/60 and proved, once again, that a biped-held camera is no substitute for a tripod-held one. Plus, exposure was off in several instances. And focus was amiss in a few others because I didn't react quickly enough to people moving. In time, I'll get better with the Leica. I feel that's a lot more rewarding than being instantly competent (note I did not say "good") with the Canon. Chris Lawson
