Yes I and my bank account are waiting for the announcement which I hope will
come this summer or fall. My preferences would be for the same shutter with
electronic timing controls. This would take up less space ­lower the top by
2mm :-) ­ and not need those 5 to 10 year overhauls on the slow speed mech.
For me the camera does not have to be all Leica built. As a matter of fact I
hope they out source the electronics as that stuff is inexpensive from the
big chip manufacturers. I will look at the Hexar but wait for the M as I
prefer manual wind with an option of a winder.
