Really, no.  The old craftsmen pretty much all had retired by 1970.  Some
of the older techniques (adjusting with hammers) lingered on for a while,
but I suspect it is fairer to see the M5 as the first of the new Leicas
rather than the last of the old.

A fine camera, either way, of course.
