I agree with this. Also the way in which the tripod is used. FWIW,
Kornelius Fleisher of Zeiss, whose interest is high-resolution
photography at the utmost limits, uses a very heavy surveyor's tripod,
and puts both hands firmly on the RTS III with downward pressure with
his body weight as he shoots. His experiments show that this gives him
the best steadiness.
