The Leica instruction booklet that comes with the 2x ROM extender specifies that it can be used with the Summilux ROM 80 f/1.4 but should be set to f/2.8 to avoid meter reading error therefore giving you a 160mm f/5.6. I have used set at f/1.4 and as far as I can tell there was no meter reading error.
