The Tradition of the Angel and the Christmas Tree.
For years I have been wondering how the tradition of the angel atop the =
Christmas tree originated.
=20
It seems that one holiday season many years ago, Santa was behind =
schedule in the manufacture - and delivery to all LUGers - of motor =
drives for the R8. To compound the problem, the elves were non =
cooperative and quite lethargic as they were celebrating early by =
imbibing some delectable malt.
Santa was fuming. He was raging mad and was looking for someone to take =
the brunt of his rage. That is when a little angel came into Santa's =
shop dragging a tree and made the mistake of asking: "Hey Santa, what do =
you want me to do with this tree?"

And so began the tradition of the angel atop the Christmas tree.
