shows that Leica's earnings per share, while still negative, are greatly
improved from the previous year. 

Leica's also placed a big order for photodiodes "used in the area of the
innovative
measuring system technique"; whether this is actually something new or
whether it's just M6 light sensors, I don't know.

Is the Konica Hexar RF a threat to Leica--or a source of revenue? I
believe someone mentioned Leica's involvement in it's design, and that
could mean royalties from the sale of each Hexar.

What kind of dramatic sign from Leica were you hoping for?
