I do prefer needle meters, in general, but I no longer want to carry my large and heavy Profisix around anymore. The old meter does a little better in the dark, btw: up to -4 EV against -2.5 EV for the digital. Which reminds me..... I looked in awe at the Sekonic 508, until I discovered that it reads no lower than +2EV. Interesting that a meter would do absolutely everything, except for the most important: it won't meter. Bernard
