I don't claim to be an M5 expert, but the TTL metering on the M5 is only =
for expposure metering, and does not control the flash like the M6 TTL =
does.  "TTL" refers to different functions relating to the M5 and M6 =
TTL.  The M5 with flash would work on manual or non-TTL automatic (you =
set a certain aperture and a meter cell in the flash controls the flash =
duration).
