(and the camera = did'nt stopp...) thomas ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^= ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Seems to me the multiexposure button/cover was engaged and allowed the = camera to keep on shooting. The R8 will keep on firing until the end of the roll is reached. I = actually like this feature: the R8 starts the roll sooner than other camera and ends a little past the normal end. Of course one = can stop at 36. My EOS-1 starts at frame one and ends at 36 (or 24 etc) = with no intervention from me. I can set it to automatically rewind at = the end of the roll whose length is set by the DX code or maxed at 36. I = really like the R8 in that I can get a few more frames per roll. It = always seems things just begin to happen when the camera reaches 30 = frames exposed. With the R8, I can get a few extra shots. So, in summary, the R8 will not rewind past the end of the roll without = breaking the film or tape (cassette). There are no preprogrammed breaks. = To shoot 46 frames meant the film was a long bulk loaded roll or the = multiexposure was hit (easily done) or both.
