Subject: [Leica] R8: new lower German price and 5 yr guarante

Leica has a new advert in German papers to-day announcing a new lower R8
price of just under DMark 4,000 (was DMark 4,558) including 16% added value
tax. (One Dmark is approx 50 cents). The gurarantee is now five years, and
there is also an offer of DMark 119,58 for 36 months including 4.99% annual
interest. It seems they are getting more market orientated than was the
case earlier.
