Subject: [Leica] More scintillating lenscap info

The only lenscap I've ever used is the metal one for the collapsible
50mm f/3.5 on the IIIf, because when I collapse the lens and slide it
into the belt pouch, the lens needs protection. When shooting, the cap
comes off and goes into the belt pouch.

I hadn't considered this practice revolutionary or worthy of study until
lately...

RF and Cosina Aspherical Ultron lens...heck, I'd buy that lens just for
the cool name alone! Of course, I realize that such a move would get me
booted off the LUG. In which case I wouldn't be able to follow further
developments in the lenscap thread...hmmm....)
