The 40mm/2.4 Minilux is probably more "worthy" than any 
automatic, compact zoom. The images are, in fact, comparable to 
those of the venerable Rollei 35 (both the Sonnar and Tessar). It is, 
however, not a "true" Leica, just a high-quality Japanese compact, 
presumably using a Leica-designed lens.
