I honestly enjoyed your ancient history lesson very much:  had no idea that 
Leitz & Co. had a WWI presence; much less, a 19th century presence.  

I especially enjoyed your so very human reference to Oscar Barnack's "asthma" 
and "healths benefits" concerns as influencing his career choice.  Sounds so 
contemporary!
