In Quebec, it's ILLEGAL not to price items for sale in any store. Not just for sales: all the time. Some cheapos try this to avoid having to confront they are not competitive or overpriced, or damn lazy. It's a law with teeth, too: consumers seem to be better protected in Quebec than most everywhere I know of. Premium items like Leica are very seldom loss leaders [ ! ] but MUST be priced in a non-equivocal way nonetheless. It seems this could be a thing to ask your lawmakers if such is not Law in your area. Bill is right: NEVER give a penny to such low grade "operations"! Andre Jean Quintal
