Since everyone is going to be using the M adapters for their LTM
lenses--and finding that often the lens will unscrew rather than the
whole assembly unbayonet----the little tits on the back of the old-style
rear lens caps fit the cutouts in the adapter so that the adapter can be
removed.  Now there will be a run on the lens caps.
