If I am not mistaken, the optical design of the 50 summilux is the same for
the latest version with built in hood and the one preceeding that.

If that is the case, I'd opt for the one with detachable hood as I have
found that the slip in/out one on my 50 summicron tends to slip in
unnoticed until the shot is taken.
